Each year, the Blairstown Elementary School Parent Teacher Group (BES PTG) puts together a Santa’s Secret Workshop which is a wonderful, longstanding event for local children and their families!
With each passing year, this school event continues to grow in popularity. Last year was another record-breaking year for us and we hosted more than 200 children and their families at our school for a holiday shopping extravaganza.
Each year, children of all ages from our area community have the opportunity to shop for family and friends without the ever-watchful eye of their parents in a separate area of the school with the help of our 6th grade “elves”. The children shop from our affordable, kid-friendly selection of items. They truly love being able to surprise their families on Christmas morning! While the kids are off shopping and having their choices wrapped, parents are free to peruse the vendor tables and do a little holiday shopping of their own… kid-free.
In addition to shopping, the children and their families can also enjoy:
• Pictures with Santa- Bring Your Own Camera!
• Raffles
• 50/50 drawing
• FREE Children’s Activities, Crafts and Face Painting!
